Executive Program 2026 Graduation
2026 Executive Program Graduation
On April 23, 2026, Leadership Memphis proudly celebrated the graduation of the Executive Program Class of 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital–East, honoring a remarkable cohort of leaders committed to strengthening Memphis through courageous leadership, civic engagement, and collective impact.
Over the course of nine months, cohort members engaged in an immersive exploration of Memphis — examining the systems, histories, challenges, and opportunities shaping our community. Through dynamic sessions, community conversations, leadership development experiences, and site visits across the city, participants explored topics including government, economics, educational equity, health and wellness, community safety, hunger and homelessness, arts and culture, and neighborhood development.
The graduation celebration marked not only the completion of the program, but the culmination of meaningful relationships, expanded perspectives, and a deeper commitment to leading alongside one another for the future of Memphis. A highlight of the evening included presentations of Community Action Projects, where cohort members unveiled innovative, community-centered ideas designed to address pressing issues facing Memphis and Shelby County.
We extend special thanks to graduation speaker Dr. Reginald Boyce for his inspiring remarks and continued leadership in our community, and to Executive Program Class President Judge Danielle Mitchell for her thoughtful reflections on behalf of the cohort. We also thank Mayor Young and Dr. Jamila Smith-Young for your special remarks.
Family members, alumni, elected officials, nonprofit leaders, corporate partners, and community supporters gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the class and recognize the impact these leaders will continue making across the city.
For 47 years, the Executive Program has served as Leadership Memphis’ flagship leadership experience — cultivating informed, connected, and action-oriented leaders who are prepared to collaborate across sectors and move Memphis forward together.
We extend special thanks to our Executive Program sponsors for their continued investment in leadership development and civic engagement across Memphis.
Congratulations to the Executive Program Class of 2026. Your leadership will continue shaping the future of Memphis for years to come.
