2025 Volunteer Memphis 9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance

Since 2019, Volunteer Memphis and Leadership Memphis dedicate a day to honor our First Responders in memory of the tragic events of 9/11. This special event brings together local volunteers, including corporate teams and individuals, to provide meals for 820 Memphis firefighters. Volunteers pick up meals generously donated by local restaurants and deliver them to fire stations across Shelby County to show our respect and appreciation. A big thank you to our sponsors: the Indian Community Fund for Greater Memphis, ALSAC St. Jude, and Smith and Nephew. We also extend our gratitude to the corporate volunteer teams and the 20+ restaurants that donated meals. A special thanks to Memphis Fire Department, all our volunteers and restaurant partners to make this event a success!
