Memphis currently ranks 48 of the 51 largest metropolitan areas in percentage of the population with a college degree. With less than one in four Memphians holding a college degree (23.7%), our community is embarking on an initiative that will increase the number of college graduates by one percentage point, resulting in a talent dividend in excess of $1 billion. On Wednesday, December 9, 2009, Leadership Memphis and CEOs for Cities announced the formation of the Memphis Talent Dividend: College Attainment Initiative. more >>
