From time to time, Leadership Memphis will partner with other organizations to produce Community Forums. These forums will typically
focus on a topic or issue of local importance and be presented in a factual and neutral way with the intent of developing better-informed citizens. Better-informed citizens make better decisions for the community. One of the signs of a progressive and forward-thinking city is its ability to have constructive public discourse as a way of giving everyone a voice and a chance to be heard. Community forums will provide citizens the opportunity to hear viewpoints and opinions that may resonate with their own, be different from their own, and possibly include new thoughts and concepts not considered before. Community Forums are presented on an as needed basis and will be open to the entire community. When a forum is scheduled it will be posted on the Leadership Memphis website and promoted throughout the community.
