Communication's Chair Marvin Stockwell 08 stockwellm@churchhealthcenter.org
“Nothing sells like success” goes the old adage, and it’s true. People get on board when they see a winning formula – something that’s really working. Leadership Memphis alums are leading the way on so many fronts, and all of Memphis needs to see our light shine.
Do you have a great Leadership Memphis success story to share? Is someone from your class doing something to make Memphis a better place to live, work and raise a family? If so, I need your help.
Your fellow alums need to know the good you are doing. They need to be encouraged to dream big and start something new in Memphis. They also need to see what efforts are underway, so they can see how to add fuel to your creative fire. One resource or idea could make the difference in a project’s success, but the rest of us can’t help you if we don’t know what you’re up to.
And beyond our fraternity of consensus builders and influences, we need to let Memphis know what we’re doing. My fellow Marketing Committee members and I will take your good news and work hard to get it amplified through the megaphone of the media. In survey after survey, people say they want to hear the good news about Memphis. What we are doing is that good news.
Together, we can help inspire and harness the collective goodness in our city to help make Memphis great. If you have a great story to share, drop me a line. I look forward to working with you.
Marvin
