The Marshall Memorial Fellowship (MMF) is a program organized by the German Marshall Fund (GMF). Now in its 26th year, the program provides opportunities for young leaders from the United States and Europe to spend nearly a month traveling on the other side of the Atlantic. The European fellows travel to five U.S. cities to visit formally and informally with policymakers and prominent members of the business, government, political, nongovernmental, and media communities to learn about current economic, political, and social issues facing both the United States and Europe.
Leadership Memphis recently hosted five young European leaders from the Marshall Memorial Fellowship (MMF). The fellows were in Memphis for a series of meetings with local officials from the public and private sectors. The meetings were intended to strengthen transatlantic relations through personal connections.
